Essence Statement
Learning languages benefits students and their communities at three levels, a personal level, at the level of family and community and at a national level. We want our young people to be confident, connected, actively involved life-long learners of languages.

Learning Languages At Kokopu School
Children will broaden their understanding of people and their languages and culture. They will develop skills, attitudes and understandings that will enable them to learn more about their own language. Children will become confident in another language that may be used locally, nationally and globally.
